Artist Statement: One of the things that
fascinates and inspires me about the Utah landscape is the play of
mountains, sky, water, and reflection. Out in the wide open spaces of
the salt flats and western desert, stunning vistas as
far as the eye can see. The mountains seem to merge with the clouds and
the horizon is lost in stunning reflections of the sky.
I am exploring the merge of earth,
sky, and water, and pushing color boundaries, as nature puts on a
fleeting display of colors ever changing for us to enjoy...
My coastal land and seascapes are inspired by my love of the ocean, growing up and living on the beaches of Long Island New York, Florida, and in Santa Cruz California.
